| The latest meeting of the Thomas Firth Jackson Council No 262 was a daytime meeting held in the bijou Grange over Sands masonic hall. |

| It being that time of year when colds, flu and Covid seem to flourish there were some changes to be made in personnel. In the spirit of the order everyone chipped in and filled the gaps to make sure that things could proceed as planned. |

| Since the last meeting TJF had lost one of its founding members and lodge chaplain. Frank Clarke. Past District Grand Prefect Paul Snape orated a brief eulogy before the brethren paid tribute to departed merit. |
| John Bicknell was them appointed chaplain by IPM Dave Sear who was standing in as WM. |

| Following the normal opening a lodge of Grand Tilers of Solomon was opened with Nigel Higginson and Barry Hadley being admitted to the degree. Next up was a lodge of Knights of Constantinople which saw David Jopling join Nigel and Barry in being admitted to that order. |
| Following the meeting a very enjoyable, and reasonably priced, lunch of pie and peas followed by cheese and biscuits was enjoyed. |
